It's beginning...

 ...to look a lot like Christmas in these parts.  Yesterday was my shipping deadline for all orders, which meant today I was able to breathe.  I had a rare moment this evening when Shine took an unusually late nap.  Normally I run through the list of things I need to get done sans baby, and even though the list is still full, I treated myself to a date with my camera, because I have been grossly neglecting her.  We've had plans, the two of us, with the tripod, and these gorgeous Christmas lights, and my new camera knowledge thanks to my friend Peter, I can actually work this baby on the manual setting and it's changed things between us.  A whole new relationship was born between me and my camera. A whole new world is out there to look at.
