I hate winter so much that even the sight of gorgeous chilly weather capes like this one make me shudder. Winter scares me. When I was younger I didn't mind it. Then for many years I really hated it. Then I sort of started to accept it because I do love the seasons and I don't think I would like to live somewhere without autumn or snow during Christmas. But when my friend was killed in a car accident during a snow storm two years ago, I started to really feel afraid of winter. (And being in cars). So on super hot days like the past few we've had, I think of this Bob Dylan quote and smile and sweat.
"If you think the summer sun is too hot, just remember, at least you don't have to shovel it.' "
PS-I love summer.

I couldn't agree more! I've always loved summertime even in Arkansas where the heat is *almost* unbearable. I'll take chiffon sundresses over wool capes any day! That being said, our winters here in Little Rock tend to be milder than, say, Chicago... xo.
I bet summers are brutal in AK.
