The Wagon Master
His presence,
So grand, it could fill all five Great Lakes.
Swell far into the oceans,
The Pacific and Atlantic,
Saranac Lake too.
His character,
Had he lived in a novel,
Would have been among the greats.
A Masterpiece.
His Masterpiece?
Their children,
Five beautiful dreams.
His love, undying,
The Queen of Hearts.
The Universe has no need,
For a sun,
With a smile like hers.
The mountains,
Held his heart,
And led him up.
Brimming with honesty,
Love, and admiration,
He was the Wagon Master.

Bastille Day, Bohart: The Wagon Master
Only the Wagon Master could make me think of a snowy ski hill in the milddle of July. If you didn't know Bob Hartney, you never knew charisma.
